Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España - FYME

The Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España was created by Maestro Menuhin in February of 1999. FYME is already 10 years old and has consolidated its organizational structure and administrative capacity, advancing with a professional team along with qualified contributors and volunteers. At present this team of professionals have consolidated a permanent structure with the ability to control different programs, guaranteeing the positive outcome of the activities as well as respecting the objectives of the foundation.

FYME’s objectives are:

FYME is implementing its work in 10 autonomous regions and 2 autonomous cities (Ceuta and Melilla). Andalusia, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Castilla la Mancha, Valencia, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Basque Country, Ceuta & Melilla.

In January of 2003, the Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España was awarded with the “Gran Cruz de la Orden Civil de la Solidaridad Social”, given by H.M. Queen Sofia of Spain. FYME was nominated by the Ministry of Employment and Social Services, and ratified by the Cabinet of Ministers for its dedication to social and cultural integration of children and adolescents in at-risk situations, as well as the promotion of dialogue and solidarity through the arts.

FYME is currently implementing the following programs:
