Lebt und arbeitet in Vilnius. Bogdanas studierte von 1979 bis 1985 am State Institute of Art, heute Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Seit 1986 nimmt er an Ausstellungen und Kunstprojekten in Litauen und im Ausland teil. Seine künstlerischen Aktivitäten sind oft mit amtlichen Projekten verbunden. Bogdanas lehrt seit 1990 an der Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts und arbeitet in verschiedenen Medien auf konzeptioneller Basis. Seine Arbeiten werden in der Sammlung des litauischen Kunstmuseums und auch in einigen Privatsammlungen gezeigt.

He works and lives in Vilnius. From 1979 to 1985 he studied at the State Institute of Art (Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts at present). Since 1986 he participates in exhibitions and art projects in Lithuania and abroad. His artistic activities are often combined with curatorial practice. Since 1990 he gives lectures at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Kostas Bogdanas works in different media on a conceptual base. His artworks are included in the collection of Lithuanian Art Museum as well are featured in private collections.
